They are a straight leg, nice black wash with NO tears or rips (so approp for work if you are able to wear denim). They are highwaisted with lots of stretch but I took my typical size 27. The inseam is 30 inches- so great with heel/wedge if you are 5 foot 5 or under. Those 5 foot 6 and over, best with flats or sneaks or possibly a very low heeled bootie for fall.
